Ultraprobe® 100 is a great cost-effective analog ultrasonic tool. It senses high frequency sounds produced from operating equipment, electrical discharges, and leaks. It translates these signals by heterodyning them down to an audible range for the user to hear through the headset and see them as intensity increments on the LED meter. Heterodyning converts high frequency sounds to an audible range so they are understood and easily recognized.
