Laser Alignment Applications
This course teaches shaft alignment procedures focusing on laser systems but also teaches dial indicator methods. Classroom course utilizes the Hamar Laser Systems as demonstration units but also can teach using the customer’s alignment systems from another vendor. Day one is classroom the skills needed for a good alignment job and addresses: Pre-alignment checks, Soft foot checks and correction, thermal growth calculations, and how to align machine trains. The second day is customer onsite with one to three alignments mentoring students in the correct use of their equipment or showing the Hamar Alignment systems capabilities in the field.

In-place Machine Balancing
Onsite course in balancing includes basic vibration theory so you can determine the difference between an unbalance condition and other sources of vibration. Most balance software is very similar and CMP will train your personnel on either our balance software (Adash), or if already purchased then the clients software. Understanding tolerances, proper weight placement and safety procedures for trial weights is covered. Multiple balancing methods such as single plane, two plane, static and couple is also covered.
