The Adash  A4900- Vibrio M is easy to use with it’s 3 button operation, color graphics, and expert functions for fault detection. On the top panel there is a micro USB for transferring data, an LED stroboscope, ACC ICP® - sensor input, stethoscope output, and an IR non-contact temp sensor. It’s industrial design allows for 8 hours of operation that takes 2AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries all in a heavy duty aluminum case.

This is a great unit for anyone wanting to start a PdM vibration monitoring program on a small to medium scale. You can either use it as a high end vibration meter to spot check equipment and if needed save the data to memory, or create routes with the free shareware version of Adash’s DDS2016 Software and then collect routine data. Set Alarms, create trends, view FFT and Waveform data!

Use the onboard expert diagnostic system to immediately identify excessive misalignment, unbalance, looseness and bearing issues.
Utilize the optional headphone accessory to listen to the machine and identify defects while collecting data, then take and log bearing and other machine temperature readings with the onboard infrared thermometer.
The Vibrio even has an onboard strobe light to help determine shaft speeds, then converts to a torch type flashlight for those dark areas so you can collect data safely and collect machine nameplate information when needed.
I have personally used this unit and think it is one of the best deals out there for consultants, pump and motor shops, mechanics, and anyone else that needs to collect and review vibration data but does not have the budget or expertise for a full scale vibration data collector.
